THIS BUILD UP CAN OCCUR UNDER EXTREMELY HIGH TEMPERATURES OR EXTREMELY STRONG SUNLIGHT. AS A RESULT OF THIS PRESSURE BUILD UP, THE FUEL TANK MAY BULGE AND, SOON THEREAFTER, DEVELOP A SHORT HAIRLINE CRACK FROM WHICH FUEL WILL LEAK.
