2014 RAM PROMASTER NHTSA RECALL OVERVIEW: Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) is recalling certain model year 2014 Ram ProMaster vehicles manufactured July 1, 2013, through December 10, 2013. In the affected vehicles, if the accelerator pedal is pushed downward at a certain angle, the pedal may get stuck in the wide open throttle position due to interference with the accelerator pedal stopper.

2014 RAM PROMASTER Recall Remedy: Chrysler will notify owners and dealers will replace the accelerator pedal stopper with a larger one, free of charge. The recall is began on March 27, 2014. Owners may contact Chrysler at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is P02. Note: These vehicles are equipped with a brake override system. In the event a pedal is trapped, pushing on the brake pedal will brake the vehicle and enable the driver to slow and stop and turn off the vehicle.
