2006 JEEP LIBERTY Recall Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE OXYGEN SENSOR WIRING HARNESS TAKEOUT FOR DAMAGE. IF THE TAKEOUT IS DAMAGED, THE WIRING WILL BE REPAIRED AND A TIE WRAP INSTALLED TO SECURE THE EXCESS LENGTH OF WIRING HARNESS. IF THERE IS NO DAMAGE, A TIE WRAP WILL BE INSTALLED TO SECURE THE EXCESS LENGTH OF THE WIRING HARNESS. THE RECALL BEGAN ON APRIL 17, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT DAIMLERCHRYSLER AT 1-800-853-1403.
