AS A RESULT OF THIS CHEMICAL ACTION, A GAS DEVELOPS (HYDROGEN) WHICH DISPLACES THE BRAKE FLUID CAUSING A PROGRESSIVE INCREASE IN BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER PISTON TRAVEL WITH SUBSEQUENT DECREASE IN THE EFFICIENCY OF THE REAR BRAKING SYSTEM.
